CONCORD—The New Hampshire House Business Caucus, in partnership with the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, announced today the fourth in a series of  Business Roundtables with presidential candidates, on Monday, August 31, at noon at The Draft restaurant, 67 South Main Street,  Concord.   Declared presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas will be the featured speaker.

“As the summer vacation season winds down, business leaders are becoming increasingly interested in hearing economic policy details from the presidential candidates.  They want to know exactly where the candidates stand on all issues that may impact the future of their companies as well as their families.  These Business Roundtables provide the perfect forum to learn more about the candidates’ positions and to ask specific questions,” said New Hampshire House Business Caucus founder and chair, Rep. Laurie Sanborn (R-Bedford).

“Our members are looking forward to learning more about Senator Cruz, as well as the other declared candidates over the coming months,” said Tim Sink, President of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.

Ted Cruz has been a tireless fighter for liberty his entire life because his family knows what it is like to lose their freedom.  Cruz’s father fled to the United States to attend the University of Texas in 1957 after being tortured and imprisoned in Cuba.  In 2012, Cruz was elected as the first Hispanic or Cuban American to serve as a U.S. Senator from Texas.  Prior to this role, Cruz was Director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission and Solicitor General for the State of Texas. He was the first Republican candidate to announce his intention to run in the 2016 Presidential election.

The Business Roundtable is free, but space is limited, and RSVPs are required by May 26, 2015.
